An evening of refined depth and youthful brilliance awaits.In the acoustically intimate setting of the concert hall, the supremely talented Soloists of the Kronberg Academy present an evening that bridges youthful exuberance and mature artistry. The programme opens with two movements from the F-A-E Sonata, a rare collaborative work by Robert Schumann, the young Johannes Brahms and Albert Dietrich, whose spirited exchanges foreshadow each composer’s future greatness. The second half unfolds with Debussy’s mature Cello Sonata—in D minor, ravishingly lyrical and suffused with impressionistic colour—leading into his late Violin Sonata, a luminous and harmonically daring masterpiece that crowns his final creative period. Throughout the performance, the musicians weave a vivid tapestry of dialogue between strings and piano, moving seamlessly from impassioned discourse to shimmering, ethereal textures.
