Join them live and let their songs awaken emotions you’ve been too afraid to feel.Ringdown, the boundary-defying electronic pop duo of Pulitzer Prize laureate Caroline Shaw and folk-pop singer-songwriter Danni Lee Parpan, returns to the Barbican with songs from their 2025 debut album Lady on the Bike. Onstage partners in art and life, Shaw and Parpan weave shimmering synth textures, syncopated rhythms and rich, emotive vocals against a sleek, minimalist backdrop. The evening kicks off with the propulsive drive of “Two-Step,” moves into the tender introspection of “Emotional Absentee” and reaches a cathartic climax with the anthemic “The Mess,” each track charting their own journey through love and vulnerability.
