From The Little Mermaid to Broadway classics, this evening of unforgettable musical theatre promises soaring harmonies and timeless melodies.Under the baton of new Chief Conductor Owain Park, the BBC Singers launch their 2026/27 season with an evocative homage to Academy and Grammy Award–winning composer Alan Menken. The choir brings to life iconic favourites—from the shimmering undersea melodies of The Little Mermaid and the spellbound halls of Beauty and the Beast to the vibrant rhythms of Aladdin and the spirited gospel flair of Sister Act—juxtaposed with Broadway classics that fueled Menken’s creative spark. Swelling harmonies, dynamic rhythms, and poignant solos weave together in an evening of theatrical splendour and memory-stirring melodies. Tickets start at £15 (excludes £4 booking fee).
