Experience this masterpiece reborn by Trinity Boys and Girls Choir and orchestra.In the summer of 1791, Mozart receives a clandestine commission: compose a Requiem Mass for an unknown patron—and ask no questions. Worn thin by a year of creative triumphs, he pours every ounce of his genius—and deepest anxieties—into the score, certain with each bar that he is composing his own funeral. His sudden death at thirty-five leaves the work hauntingly incomplete, its fragments echoing with ambition and sorrow. Under Constanze’s guidance, Mozart’s students and colleagues assemble his sketches into a cohesive masterpiece. Tonight, Trinity Boys and Girls Choir and orchestra summon this sublime swansong to life, fusing mystery and majesty in a performance of transcendent beauty.
