Harvest Your Own Pearl is a private interactive experience for 1 person, while 1 spectator is also able to share the experience with the guest on the day.You will never forget the truly unique and romantic once-in-a-lifetime experience of harvesting your own Australian South Sea Cultured Pearl. You are treated to your choice of either Margaret River sparkling or sparkling mineral water and the rare delicacy of pearl meat, followed by sorbet, you’ll discover why the finest pearls in the world grow in Western Australia. We’ll take you on a journey of discovery from the history of pearling to the intricate practices of modern Western Australian cultured pearl farming. You’ll then be invited to harvest your very own pearl, straight from its oyster. Due to the nature of pearl farming, the value of the pearl inside remains unknown until the breath-taking moment its oyster is opened and the pearl is harvested. The pearl could range from $500 up to $5,000, and is yours to keep! After the pearl has been harvested, you’ll be taken through the grading process and given the opportunity to have your pearl made into a stunning piece of jewelry.
