Overview
Discover the authentic face of Tirana and the taste of the local people. Take a walk through the New Bazaar and enjoy different types of traditional Albanian food while learning more about Tirana’s social and culinary culture.During this tour, you will sample many local, traditionally cooked dishes (adding up to quite a big meal, so come hungry!). You will also learn how the history and social climate of the city came together in the modern lifestyle and culinary habits of the people in Albany. Starting from Skanderbeg Square, your guide will accompany you to the New Bazaar. Heat up your appetite with typical Kornacka Korca meatballs paired with locally brewed beer and then go for an exploration of the dairy, meat and fish market stands of the Bazaar. Next up on the menu are locally grown grapes, figs, fruit, olives, seeds, nuts, baked desserts and of course baklava.
