Villa-Lobos’s nocturnal lyricism follows, weaving moonlit melodies into a hushed reverie, before Miranda’s solitary waltz and Tia Amélia’s spirited, choro-infused miniatures bring warmth and rhythmic vitality. Siqueira’s crisp sonatinas introduce playful clarity, setting the stage for Piazzolla’s Adiós Nonino, whose smoky, impassioned phrases evoke a poignant farewell.
